Role Description

The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Frederick, CO, responsible for managing customer relationships and supporting complex CNC machining projects from initial inquiry through delivery.

Day-to-day work includes serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, responding to customer requests, and coordinating with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met. The role involves reviewing customer specifications, preparing and tracking quotes, monitoring order status, and proactively communicating timelines, changes, and risks.

The Account Manager will also analyze account performance, identify opportunities for growth, and support continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders. This position requires consistent on-site engagement with the operations team to manage priorities and resolve issues in real time.

Qualifications

  • Customer relationship management skills, including account stewardship, issue resolution, and proactive communication.
  • Experience with project coordination or order management in a manufacturing, machining, or engineering-driven environment
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and requirements, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, deadlines, and shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with business software (e.g., CRM systems, ERP tools, Microsoft Office) and comfort working with data and reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on practical solutions and continuous improvement
  • Relevant experience in precision machining, manufacturing, aerospace, medical device, or similar technical industries is highly beneficial
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work on-site in Longmont, CO, and maintain a professional, inclusive, and safety-conscious work style

Pay Range: $65,000-$90,000 per year
